Necrospermia is a common manifestation of abnormal sperm and semen. This condition refers to the detection of immobile, dead sperm during semen analysis, preventing sperm from fertilizing eggs and leading to infertility. Can necrospermia be cured? This is the primary concern for patients. Below, our experts will address this issue.
1. Tuina Therapy for Necrospermia
(1) Lower Abdominal Massage: Use thumbs or palms to massage the Qihai, Shimen, and Guanyuan acupoints on the lower abdomen. Gradually increase pressure while applying a twisting motion—massaging and pressing simultaneously, holding pressure in place.
(2) Transverse Sacral Massage: Place the palm or the pads of the index, middle, and ring fingers on the area surrounding the sacral spinous processes. Perform rhythmic transverse strokes at a rate of approximately 120 strokes per minute.
(3) Pressing the Shenmen Point: Apply deep pressure with the thumb to the Shenmen point (located on the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian, at the inner side of the wrist crease on the palmar side, in the depression medial to the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon). Gradually increase pressure, hold the pressure for about 5-10 minutes, 1-2 times daily. Ten sessions constitute one course of treatment.
2. Acupuncture Treatment for Necrospermia
Acupoints: Shenshu (BL23), Pangguangshu (BL28), Sanyinjiao (SP6), Guanyuan (CV4). Method: Apply moderate-strong stimulation. Perform every other day. Ten sessions constitute one course of treatment. When needling Guanyuan, direct the needle tip downward to transmit the sensation to the external genitalia.
3. Qigong Therapy for Necrospermia
Focus on mental cultivation to enhance mental tranquility. Common methods include silent recitation, breath counting, and Dan Tian concentration—with Dan Tian concentration being most suitable. Practice daily before bed in seated or supine position, directing energy to the Dan Tian to eliminate distractions and achieve mental stillness.
