Diversified food for stomach cancer prevention
Diversify food and maintain a balanced diet. Avoid diets that are high in salt (the amount of salt should be limited to 10 grams per day), too hard and too hot. Drinking strong alcohol can also damage the gastric mucosa and induce stomach cancer, which should be avoided.
Eat foods with protective effects appropriately. Choose foods rich in vitamin E, such as almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts and vegetable oil. Garlic can inhibit the growth of nitrate-reducing bacteria and moulds in the stomach and should be advocated to be eaten more often. Non-smoking can reduce the content of thiocyanate, the catalyst of nitrosation reaction, in the body, thus reducing the synthesis of N-nitroso compounds.
Eat less or do not eat carcinogens, N-nitroso compounds and other carcinogens are factors that induce gastric cancer, people should eat less or do not eat food related to it, such as pickled, smoked, grilled, baked, fried food and mouldy food.
