Spring blooms bring delightful scenery to most, but for those prone to pollen allergies, it's a real challenge! How to manage springtime skin allergies? Here are nine tips to help you avoid irritation and enjoy a pleasant, romantic spring.
1. Wash your face after going outside
After returning home from smoggy weather or pollen season, immediately wash your hands and face to remove dust, pollen, and pathogens. Additionally, change into fresh clothes upon arrival.
2. Wash bedding frequently
Bedding is a major carrier of allergens like pollen and dust mites. Allergy sufferers should thoroughly wash sheets, pillowcases, and pillows in hot water at least once a week. After washing clothes, it's best to dry them in a dryer or indoors rather than hanging them outside.
3. Shower before bed
Taking a shower before bed, especially a shower, helps remove allergens like pollen and dust mites accumulated during daytime outdoor activities. This also reduces the likelihood of allergen contamination in the bedroom.
