Knees and feet together, bend knees to 90 degrees, then shift your entire body weight onto your heels, as if sitting in a chair. Next, bring your arms over your head with palms facing each other, shoulders relaxed and dropped. Hold this position for 10 seconds.
Standing Posture
Stand naturally on the ground with both big toes touching and heels slightly apart. Keep legs straight, pull in your abdomen, lift your chest, and let arms hang naturally at your sides.
Fighting Stance
Begin in the standing posture. Extend both legs, then step your right foot back with toes pointing forward.
Slightly bend your left knee while keeping your right leg straight. Raise your arms overhead, then bring them down to rest beside your ears with palms facing each other.
