Foot massage is one of the most convenient daily wellness practices. Different massage techniques yield varying health benefits. Below we explore the techniques involved in foot massage:
Three Common Foot Massage Techniques
Dry Rubbing: Hold the front of your left foot with your left hand. Use your right hand to rub the sole of your foot up and down 100 times with moderate pressure until the sole feels warm. Then repeat the same action with the right hand on the right foot.
Wet Rubbing: Soak both feet in a basin of moderately warm water until they turn red. Dry them thoroughly, then rub using the "Dry Rubbing" method.
Alcohol Rubbing: Pour approximately 30 grams of white liquor from a bottle. While rubbing your feet using the "dry rubbing" method, dip your hands in a small amount of the liquor and continue rubbing. If the liquor dries during the process, simply dip your hands again and continue rubbing several times.
