Feeling too lazy to move? Notice your immunity dropping as you eat more and exercise less? Want a rock-solid body? How to boost immunity? Here are six key areas for comprehensive immune-boosting massage techniques. Master these, and you'll effortlessly strengthen your defenses.
1. Brain:
Cortical Integration Zone: Regulates higher centers within the subcortical regions and secretes 50 hormones to enhance the function of central immune organs.
Massage Method: Apply firm, horizontal pressure with the palm of your right hand directly on the crown of your head. Massage in a clockwise direction 100-400 times. Individuals with high blood pressure should monitor their blood pressure during this massage, as it can help lower it.
2. Thyroid Gland:
The thyroid gland increases metabolic rate, promotes growth and development, and facilitates calcium reabsorption. As the thymus is a target organ for thyroid hormones, massaging the thyroid also enhances thymic immune function.
Health Massage Method: ① Use the middle three fingers of the right hand to apply moderate pressure and massage the thyroid gland on the left side of the Adam's apple 100-400 times; ② Use the middle three fingers of the left hand to apply moderate pressure and massage the thyroid gland on the right side 100-400 times;③ Use the thumb and index finger of the right hand to pinch the midline crease encircling the Adam's apple and apply moderate pressure while kneading 100-400 times.
III. Thymus:
The thymus is a central immune organ. Thymosin trains bone marrow stem cells into T lymphocytes that eliminate pathogens, microorganisms, and bacteria, enhancing immune function to treat infectious diseases. Its NK cells specifically target and destroy cancer cells.Located beneath the sternum, it connects to the thyroid gland above and approaches the pericardium below, divided into left and right lobes.
Health Massage Method: Place the right palm flat on the sternum tip. Apply pressure with the palm base and finger roots to massage clockwise 100-300 times. Then move the palm downward and massage similarly 100-300 times. Finally, form a loose fist and lightly tap the sternum up and down 100-300 times.
IV. Spleen:
The spleen functions in hematopoiesis, blood storage, and blood filtration. It is located in the lower left chest along the inner edge of the ribs. Macrophages within the spleen phagocytose antigens, foreign substances, bacteria, and viruses in the blood, producing antibodies to participate in the body's immune function.
Health Massage Method: Use fingers to grasp and scrape the skin surface beneath the spleen along the inner ribcage upward 200-500 times. Apply pressure with the right palm and left hand back to knead the front and back skin surface of the spleen 200-500 times. Additionally, perform moderate forward pats and backward taps 100-300 times each.
