Parental education can profoundly influence children throughout their lives, potentially causing severe psychological harm. What's more alarming is that many parents deeply wound their children without realizing it.
Favoritism is a form of emotional abuse
No parents are entirely impartial; differences exist to varying degrees. Wise parents strive to provide both children with as similar an upbringing as possible. Failed parents, however, focus solely on their favorite child while relentlessly demanding from the other, condemning that child to a lifetime of suffering from their family of origin. Favoritism is emotional abuse; the neglected child may never fully recover.
Favoritism easily ruins children.
The world works in strange ways: the child most favored by parents often strays down a path of no return and becomes the unfilial one. Parental indulgence breeds recklessness, ultimately leading to self-destruction. The neglected child, striving desperately for a single word of praise, often becomes the most accomplished sibling.
Avoid comparing your children
Each child is a unique individual. Refrain from comparing them, especially the one who may seem slightly less accomplished. Every child possesses their own strengths. Don't judge them solely by your own standards; they may excel in areas you don't recognize.
Create Individual Time with Each Child
Having private moments with your child fosters communication, nurtures affection, and strengthens your bond. If you have more than one child, strive to give each exclusive time. This lets them feel your unique love.A child who feels loved learns to love others. Only children who receive parental affection understand how to cherish their siblings, fostering family harmony.
