1. Take antibiotics and other medications for 5–7 days post-liposuction to prevent infection.
2. Keep the post-operative bandages secure. Removal must be performed by a physician.Seek immediate attention at the center if dressing condition appears abnormal. 3. Keep wounds and dressings clean and dry. Replace dressings promptly if they become saturated. Return to the center for dressing changes 1–2 days post-op. Subsequent dressing schedule will be determined by the physician based on wound and surgical site condition. Sutures are typically removed 7–14 days post-op at our center.
4. Rest in bed as much as possible for 3 days after liposuction. Avoid physical labor or strenuous exercise for 2 weeks post-surgery. Resume normal activities after 3–4 weeks. Avoid direct sunlight for 4–6 weeks.
5. Temporary abdominal wall irregularities or reduced skin sensation may occur shortly after liposuction. These typically resolve within 3–6 months.
6. Seek immediate examination at our center if you experience fever, persistent pain in the surgical area, a fluctuant sensation under the skin, blistering, darkening of the skin, excessive wound bleeding, or shortness of breath.
7. Return to the center for follow-up examinations at 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months post-liposuction.
