Complaint #1: "My boss doesn't care about the details of my work." Why this is foolish: Why should she worry more about your work than the headlines? Attention to detail is your job, not hers. Complaint #5: "My boss spouts nothing but jargon and gibberish."
Why this is silly: So what? That's how most people in business talk. It's just mental noise, like verbal cramps. At worst it's annoying; at best, it's entertaining.
Complaint #6: My boss steals other people's ideas and claims them as his own.
Why this is dumb: Hey, he's using good ideas to organize employees to make those ideas work for him. If you're smart, you'd want your boss to "have" your ideas.
My boss assigns tasks but never checks them.
Complaint #7: My boss assigns tasks but never checks them.
Why this is dumb: Maybe she trusts you to nail the details. Or do you expect her to be your quality control inspector?
Complaint #8: My boss takes too much credit, in my opinion.
Why this is foolish: Did someone put you on the executive compensation committee? While it's true some bosses earn infuriatingly high salaries, your boss's pay has nothing to do with you.
