Are there dietary remedies to restore gray hair to its natural color? What folk remedies can turn white hair black? While graying is a natural part of aging, many young people now experience premature graying. This phenomenon is linked to psychological factors, sleep patterns, and underlying health conditions. For those seeking to reverse graying, dietary approaches offer potential solutions. Below, we detail eight dietary methods for treating premature graying.
1. Soybean Decoction: Simmer soybeans in rice vinegar until tender. Strain out the beans and reduce the liquid to a thick paste. Apply to hair to darken gray strands and restore black hair.
2. Black Bean Treatment: Thoroughly rinse black beans, then repeatedly steam and sun-dry them. Store in a porcelain jar. Consume 6 grams twice daily, chewing thoroughly before washing down with lightly salted water.Additionally, consume one egg and two walnut kernels daily. Consistent use will yield results.
3. Grind 250g each of black sesame seeds and fresh mulberries into a paste. Mix with a small amount of honey, store in a jar, and take one tablespoon three times daily with warm water.
4. Grind 250g black beans and 30 ginkgo nuts, then stir-fry until fragrant. Stir-fry 100g black sesame seeds and 150g Polygonum multiflorum root until toasted. Combine all four ingredients in a jar. Take 30g daily after breakfast.
5. Take 1000g walnut kernels, soak in cold water for 3 days. Remove and peel off the skin tips. Place an appropriate amount of white sugar in a pot, dissolve, then pour over the walnut kernels and stir evenly. Eat after cooling. Take twice daily, 10g each time.
6. Glutinous Rice Wash Fermentation Method: Collect the sediment from rinsed glutinous rice, let it ferment for 3 days until sour. Use this liquid to scrub hair, then rinse thoroughly. Apply daily. Long-term use promotes gray-to-black hair transformation while nourishing hair for deep shine.
7. Wash 1000 grams of fresh mulberries (or 500 grams of dried mulberries). Add an appropriate amount of water and simmer. Collect the decoction once every 30 minutes, then add water and simmer again. Collect the decoction twice in total. Combine the decoctions and simmer over low heat until thickened. When it becomes relatively viscous, add 300 grams of honey, bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Allow to cool before bottling for later use.Take 1 tablespoon each time, dissolved in boiling water, twice daily.
8. Take 12 large walnuts, remove shells and inner membranes, then stir-fry the walnut kernels until fragrant and chop finely. Separately, prepare 60g each of goji berries and Polygonum multiflorum, plus 240g adzuki beans or black soybeans.
First, simmer the goji berries and Polygonum multiflorum with sufficient water until the liquid thickens. Strain out the solids. Then add the chopped walnuts and black beans to the liquid. Simmer until the walnuts are soft and the liquid is fully absorbed by the beans. Finally, remove and air-dry or dry at low temperature before consumption.Take twice daily, 6–9 grams each time, on an empty stomach or when hungry in the morning and evening.
This concludes our introduction to eight dietary methods for treating gray hair. We hope you now have a better understanding. Finally, we sincerely wish you good health and happiness.
