Method: Thoroughly wash the cabbage including stems, chop finely, and simmer with ginger and scallion whites in sufficient water. Strain before serving.Ginger helps stop vomiting and loosen phlegm, treating wind-cold colds, nausea, bloating, and diarrhea. Radish, Ginger, and Jujube Soup Ingredients: 1 white radish, 1 piece ginger, jujubes, honey, etc. (all in appropriate amounts). Method: 1. Wash the radish and ginger separately, pat dry, and slice thinly. Set aside.
2. Place 5 slices of white radish, 3 slices of ginger, and 3 jujubes in a pot. Add one bowl of water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain out the solids, reserving the liquid.
Note: This soup is suitable for early stages of colds or cold prevention. From a therapeutic perspective, ginger and brown sugar water is only suitable for wind-cold colds or patients with fever after getting wet in the rain. It should not be used for summer-heat colds or wind-heat colds. Fresh ginger juice can treat vomiting caused by exposure to cold.
