Honey-Glazed Tofu Cubes
Ingredients:
1 pound firm tofu cubes
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1-2 star anise
A dash sesame oil
A pinch toasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
1. Cut plain white tofu skin (like the one pictured) into 2cm cubes. Avoid larger pieces to prevent breaking.
2. Heat a pan with oil. Add tofu skin and stir-fry or pan-fry until golden brown.
3.Leave a little oil in the pan, add 3 tablespoons sugar, and stir over low heat until melted. Continue heating until bubbling and the color deepens to golden brown. Add the tofu and stir to coat evenly.When the liquid reduces, stir constantly over high heat to thicken the sauce. Once the sauce has almost evaporated, turn off the heat. Drizzle with a small amount of sesame oil, mix well, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.Today's recipe isn't overly sweet; adjust sugar quantity to taste.
3. For a chewier texture, spread the tofu slices on a plate and air-dry overnight.
Homemade Oil-Free Healthy Potato Chips
Ingredients: Potatoes, cumin powder, salt, pepper
Method:
1. Select two large potatoes (easier to slice thinly). Wash and peel them.15 minutes to leach out starch, ensuring crispiness.
4. Drain slices, pat dry, then season to taste.
5. Microwave on medium for 5 minutes.

Instructions:
1.Wash red dates, soak for 30 minutes, then remove pits (slice open dates without cutting through to extract pits).
2. Mix glutinous rice flour with hot water to form a dough. Knead into small oval shapes and stuff into dates.
3. Steam over high heat in cold water for 10 minutes. Serve (drizzle with honey or syrup for extra sweetness).
