Keep your eyes focused on the ground about 10 to 20 feet ahead of you. Don't stare at your feet. This isn't just the correct running form—it's also safer because you can see what lies ahead.
Land on your heel
Whether walking or running, your heel should make first contact with the ground. If you land on your toes instead, your legs will inevitably feel sore and painful. This is because all your body weight shifts to your toes, which lack any supporting structure to bear that load. Try to break the habit of toe-landing and consciously land on your heel first.
Hands at waist level
Keep your hands at waist height, roughly where they might lightly brush your hips.Your arms should form a 90-degree angle. Some beginners tend to raise their hands far above their chest, especially when fatigued. Ironically, this posture may actually tire you more quickly and cause tension and pressure in your shoulders and neck.
