Dr. Dai Min, Associate Chief Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, was born in the Huarui Tibetan region known as the "Eye of Qinghai-Tibet." She graduated from Lanzhou University Medical College with a degree in Clinical Medicine and has nearly thirty years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She employs unique treatment approaches using traditional Chinese medicine and Tibetan medicine for infertility and complex gynecological conditions. Notably, she specialized in gynecological surgery during advanced training at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Beijing Air Force General Hospital, where she studied under leading Chinese experts in the field.
In recent years, she has undergone advanced training at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Lanzhou University Affiliated Hospital and Fukang Hospital Affiliated to Tibet University, mastering leading domestic and international techniques. She is proficient in performing various obstetric and gynecological surgeries, including painless delivery, cesarean sections, and total hysterectomies. She has published multiple papers in authoritative domestic obstetrics and gynecology journals. In 2016, she was honored as an "Outstanding Member" by Gansu Wan Doctor and recognized as an "Advanced Worker" by Tianzhu County Tibetan Hospital.In January 2020, she was featured in the Communist Youth League Central Committee's "Role Models" interview series and was profiled in the Tibet Daily and Xinhua News Agency special editions with the article "Gelsang Flower Blooming on the Plateau." She has been honored as one of Gansu's Top 100 Outstanding Physicians. In 2018 and 2019, she received the "Dedicated to Duty" title from the Women's Federation of Wuwei City, Gansu, and the Women's Federation of Tianzhu County, Gansu, respectively.In May 2021, she was invited to participate in the "Five Major Centers" Construction Forum hosted by the Tibet Autonomous Region at the Nyingchi People's Hospital. In 2021, she attended the First Congress of the Sangzhuzi District Trade Union in Shigatse City. That same year, she was elected as a People's Congress representative for the Sangzhuzi District Health System in Shigatse. In July 2021, she joined the China Non-public Healthcare Industry Association and the Chinese Gynecological Medical Association.
In October 2019, she assumed the role of Medical Director at Tibet Shigatse Zangkang Hospital. She currently serves as Medical Director and Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gansu Jiuquan Kangci Hospital.
