Bathing is one of the most relaxing moments of the day, but did you know that bathing the right way can also be an effective health-promoting practice? Today, we'll share how to take a health-boosting bath.
1. Drink an appropriate amount of water before and after bathing. This promotes fluid circulation and helps eliminate toxins from the body.
2. Avoid excessively hot water during bathing. Maintain bath water temperature around 40°C (104°F), and limit each session to about 15 minutes.Avoid exceeding 20 minutes, as prolonged soaking can cause skin to wrinkle and dry out—especially important for seniors.
3. The optimal bathing time is generally between 3 PM and 9 PM, which better supports skin relaxation and rejuvenation.
4. Exfoliating bath products can help remove dead skin cells, but avoid scrubbing too vigorously. These products shouldn't be used daily—2-3 times a week is sufficient.
5. Post-bath care is crucial. Body lotion helps lock in moisture, leaving skin radiant.
After a busy day, treat yourself to a rejuvenating bath—it relaxes mind and body while promoting overall wellness.
