What are the classifications of thick thighs?
1. Flabby
Characterized by soft, pale flesh. The calves lack firmness, especially the back of the thighs where skin appears loose and saggy—commonly referred to as cellulite. If left unaddressed, even the buttocks may appear droopy.
2. Muscular
Characterized by fairly firm flesh that appears less pale. The thighs aren't saggy but are simply thick, making skirts look unflattering. Lack of exercise, coupled with frequent shopping or travel, can also lead to muscular thighs.
3. Swollen
Legs that were once well-proportioned become swollen from prolonged sitting or standing. This is especially common among office workers who frequently eat out and work in air-conditioned environments. They don't appear overweight or muscular, just unattractive with thick, bulky thighs.
How to lose thigh fat?
1. High Knees
High knees are one of the simplest and most effective exercises for slimming thighs. It's the most strenuous form of running, requiring you to lift your legs high so each thigh reaches parallel to the ground. Perform 150 repetitions per set, three sets daily, taking about 20 minutes.Keep your upper body straight while lifting, engaging your legs fully as you raise them. This exercise not only slims thighs but also improves lung capacity, strengthens the waist and calves, and promotes overall bodily function.
2. Seated Knee-to-Chest
Sit with thighs and calves at a right angle. Pinch a thin piece of fat between your knees and hold until your thighs feel fatigued. Then relax. Repeat this exercise 10 times. This method helps reduce inner thigh fat. 3. Bicycle Exercise on Bed Lie flat on your back on the bed. Lift both legs and pedal in the air as if riding a bicycle. Perform three sets of this exercise daily, with 100 repetitions per set. Count one repetition each time both legs complete a full pedal motion. The cycling motion may cause tingling or numbness in your legs—this indicates fat burning. Consistent practice reduces excess fat.
