After washing your face with hot water, immediately follow with cold water. Ice-cold water is ideal, as it locks in moisture and helps control oil production. Upon waking, drink a glass of warm water to cleanse your digestive tract and hydrate your body. Since significant water loss occurs during sleep, this glass replenishes those fluids.
At midday
Reduce physical exertion, as this is when the body tends to sweat and feel drained. This period is most prone to dehydration. To minimize fluid loss, limit strenuous activities. Opt for fruit consumption, as your digestive system is active and requires nutrient absorption. Since nutrients are absorbed alongside water, eating fruit helps maintain hydration.
In the evening
After a day's exertion, the body has shed its excess water. This is the optimal time for rehydration. Consider using hydrating face masks. Ideally, begin with a warm bath to clear bodily impurities, allowing the skin to breathe more freely, while also replenishing some of the water lost during the day.
