For instance, "M" brand breakfast milk (wheat-flavored flavored milk) primarily adds white sugar and malt powder;Y" brand breakfast milk (wheat-flavored flavored milk) contains white sugar, grains (oatmeal, malt powder, wheat extract, rice flour, corn flour).
Evidently, the carbohydrates in breakfast milk primarily consist of white sugar, along with various flavoring ingredients like grains, fruit/vegetable powders, flavorings, and food emulsifiers. Thus, the main difference between breakfast milk and "regular milk + sugar" is merely a slightly better taste and texture.
Nutritionally, breakfast milk is not only unimpressive but also has noticeable shortcomings: Compared to regular milk, breakfast milk has lower protein content (2.3g protein per 100g vs. 2.9g in regular milk) and reduced fat content.
