If you're curious about your penis length but unsure how to measure it, congratulations—the following simple method will accurately determine your size.
The penis is a vital part of the male reproductive system and holds significant importance for men.As early as ancient times, penises appeared in stone carvings and totems, fully reflecting humanity's reverence for reproductive organs. Penis size varies by ethnicity and individual. Among Chinese men (aged 18-45), non-erect penis length ranges from 4.5 to 8.8 cm, averaging 6.5 cm. The average transverse diameter is 2.5 cm, and the average mid-penile circumference is 8 cm.
So, how is penis length measured? Here's a method commonly used by doctors. Measuring flaccid penis length: At room temperature (18°C), stand upright. Lift the penis to a 90° angle from the body. Use a ruler to measure the length from the pubic symphysis (just above the penis) to the tip of the glans.Measuring erect penis length: Stand upright, grasp the glans firmly and pull it forward as far as possible without causing discomfort. Measure the length from the pubic symphysis to the glans using a ruler (this stretched length is essentially equivalent to the erect length). A measurement of 8 cm or greater is considered normal.Note: Some men with obesity or significant abdominal fat may have part of the penis buried in fat tissue, making it appear smaller. During measurement, gently push aside abdominal fat. However, men with smaller penises need not be concerned—proper sexual techniques ensure normal sexual function.
Based on nearly 30 years of research, the International Male Health Organization (MTD) concludes:
Normal Penile Length M = (Height T - 105) * 0.618 / 3.14 (cm)
Normal Penile Diameter D = M / 3.14 (cm)
(Europe/America = Asia / 1.414 / 0.618) cm
