Nasolabial Fold Massage Step 1: During your daily moisturizing routine, take two mung bean-sized amounts of cream onto the middle fingers of both hands. Using the index and middle fingers, gently dab the cream evenly onto both sides of the nostrils—the starting point of the nasolabial folds.
Nasolabial Fold Massage Step 2: Press the pads of your index and middle fingers together along the nasolabial fold lines. Starting from the sides of the nostrils, move downward toward the lower lip in a circular, clockwise motion. This aids initial absorption of the cream while stimulating surface skin tissue to gradually smooth wrinkles.
Nasolabial Fold Massage Step 3: Slide the index and middle fingers of both hands upward from below the lips, as if lifting the corners of the mouth. This prevents sagging and fine lines around the lips while lifting the entire facial contour.
Nasolabial Fold Massage Step 4: Gently press the pads of your middle fingers on the two major acupoints at the sides of the nostrils and outer corners of the lips. Repeat three to five times to ensure full absorption of the cream. Note: Press upward with gentle pressure, avoiding downward force.
For women over 30, nasolabial folds gradually deepen—primarily due to aging. Collagen and moisture gradually diminish within the skin, causing subcutaneous tissue to sag, leading to laxity and aging. Therefore, women should pay extra attention to skincare as they age.
