① Clears damp-heat, promotes bile secretion, and alleviates jaundice—a key herb for treating jaundice (often combined with Gardenia, Phellodendron, and Rheum for damp-heat jaundice; combined with Aconite and Dried Ginger for cold-damp jaundice).② Detoxifies and treats skin sores – for damp sores and eczema. 3. Dosage and Administration: Decocted, 6–15g. For external use, apply appropriately. Decoct for fumigation or washing. 4. Precautions: Use with caution in cases of blood stasis-induced jaundice or blood deficiency-induced pallor.
