The desire for beauty is universal. With the rapid growth of the minimally invasive cosmetic industry in recent years, squeezing in procedures during work or leisure breaks has become commonplace. But what if I told you even prisoners can get Botox after release? According to foreign media reports, British thief Lucia not only consulted about breast augmentation during her incarceration but also underwent £250 worth of Botox treatments around her eyes and eyebrows.
Lucia Ammerick, 29, was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for participating in a violent robbery with her boyfriend. The aggressive woman threatened to castrate the victim before stealing £280 from him.
Lucia revealed she was granted temporary release during her sentence specifically to consult about breast augmentation. Moreover, she was even permitted to leave prison for a £250 Botox procedure around her eyes and eyebrows, funded by money she earned cleaning and working in the prison canteen.
This development struck not only onlookers as absurd, but Lucia herself admitted she was surprised she was allowed to leave prison for cosmetic procedures.
After the Botox injections, Lucia's new look initially drew praise, but soon people began calling her narcissistic. What Lucia didn't deny, however, was that her treatments led to more guards flirting with her and sparked envy among other inmates.
Foreigners sure know how to have fun...
