The mother explained that her daughter's breasts began developing at age 8, and she experienced menarche a year later before seeking treatment at Ruijin Hospital. Doctors discovered the girl's bone age had already reached 13 years.Doctors analyzed that due to the one-year delay in seeking treatment—during which bone age progressed significantly beyond one year—the girl's potential height gain would not exceed 10 centimeters. Therefore, the 9-year-old, currently 140 centimeters tall, is unlikely to reach a final height exceeding 150 centimeters.

A child's family genetic history is the number one factor influencing their adult height.
