With eyes closed, gently press the eyeball using the fingertips of the index, middle, and ring fingers. Light circular massaging is also permissible, but avoid prolonged or forceful pressure—cease after approximately 20 seconds.
Brow Press Technique
Place the pad of the thumb beneath the indentation at the base of the eyebrow. Apply gentle pressure or circular motion. Repeat three times.
Focus eyes on a distant point, then rotate eyeballs diagonally upward and outward to the right. Keep head still. Forcefully blinking and closing eyes can also relieve eye fatigue.
Forehead Pressing Technique
Use the three fingers of each hand to rotate and knead from the center of the forehead toward the temples on both sides. Then firmly press the temples using finger pressure. This creates a soothing sensation in the eye sockets. Repeat 3-5 times.

Pressing Acupoints
Those familiar with eye exercises know the profound relaxation they provide afterward. Even outside school settings, massaging the Jingming, Zanzhu, Taiyang, and Fengchi acupoints during work breaks effectively relieves eye fatigue. Stimulating other points like Sibai and Chengjiang also helps alleviate eye strain.
Horizontal Eye Wiping with Palms
Rub your palms together until warm. With eyes open, place your hands vertically over your face, pressing the base of your palms against your eye sockets. Keep your fingers together and pressed against your forehead. Slowly wipe horizontally from between your eyebrows to the sides of your head, repeating 30 times. This effectively relieves eye fatigue and enhances optic nerve and eye muscle function.
