Boil an appropriate amount of Qianghuo in water, strain the liquid, and use it for mouth rinsing 3-4 times daily. Qianghuo is effective for treating sores and swellings, offering excellent relief for swollen and painful gums. Occasionally, saltwater rinses can also be used, as saltwater possesses anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
Rinsing method: Hold the solution in your mouth for about 3 minutes before spitting it out.
Garlic juice treatment
Take an appropriate amount of garlic, peel and crush it into a container. Use a round, hard object to mash the garlic thoroughly. Apply the crushed garlic paste directly to the affected gum area, repeating 3 times daily. For convenience while traveling, you can also peel garlic cloves, chew them into a paste, and apply directly to the affected gum area.
Effect: Garlic reduces swelling, relieves pain, detoxifies, and kills bacteria, making it highly effective for swollen, painful gums.
Mouthwash
After meals, rinse with chlorhexidine gluconate or other anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving mouthwash. Adults use 10ml per rinse; children may use half that amount. Swish in the mouth for about 3 minutes before spitting out. Mouthwash rinsing helps clean the oral cavity and has some effect in treating swollen, painful gums.
Note: Emphasize that children must not swallow the solution. Not recommended for children under 5 years old.
Egg-Wine Rinse
Crack one egg into a container, mix with an equal amount of white wine, and stir well. Take 10ml into the mouth and swish for about 3 minutes. Repeat 2-3 times daily. This method has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects and is somewhat effective for swollen and painful gums.
Vinegar-Water Rinse
Mix 30ml aged vinegar or rice vinegar with 60ml warm saltwater. Rinse for 3 minutes daily, followed by regular rinsing. Rinse after every meal, 5 times daily.
Effect: Vinegar disinfects and kills bacteria, providing excellent relief for swollen, painful gums.
