However, if the goal is to recreate the double eyelid at its original height, additional procedures like fat grafting or utilizing surrounding tissues may be required.Additionally, cases involving weak eyelid-opening muscles or ptosis (drooping eyelids) may occur. Ptosis can cause the double eyelid to appear inverted, enlarged, or significantly asymmetrical. In such instances, ptosis correction surgery is recommended.
