Most women desire full, firm breasts, and some with naturally flat chests seek augmentation through plastic surgery. However, pursuing excessively large breasts under the misconception that bigger is always better is unwise.Breast implant size has limitations. Even with implants, overly large fillers can lead to sagging.Sometimes even simple actions like picking up a dropped document become daunting, fearing the implants might shift. Additionally, larger implants require larger incisions, and if healing is poor, the scars may become visible.
Consequence 2: Increased risk of breast sagging
Don't assume augmented breasts won't sag. Excessively large breasts are more prone to sagging due to gravity. Moreover, oversized implants may cause the fibrous capsule to thicken and contract. After about six months, this can lead to breast hardening, deformation, and in severe cases, incision rupture.
Maximum 400ml Implant Volume per Breast
In reality, the implant volume per breast should not exceed 400ml. If the implant is too large relative to the skin and surrounding tissue volume, it may not achieve the desired effect and could instead leave visible or palpable adverse consequences.
