For breast issues, prioritize unblocking first. If pain occurs during massage (you can locate the root cause by identifying the painful area and address it accordingly):
1. Ren Meridian — Pain at the heart position
Excessive heart fire. Reduce psychological stress and ensure adequate nighttime sleep. Drink warm milk before bed and soak feet in hot water one hour before sleep. Accelerating blood circulation in the feet enhances sleep quality.
2. Liver Meridian — One-quarter of the breast's circumference. Pain during massage indicates:
Regulate nighttime sleep.Boost liver detoxification function
Regulate emotions, avoid anger or pent-up frustration
3. Stomach Meridian — Midpoint of the breast, pain upon massage
Recent gastrointestinal weakness may impair digestion or absorption. The stomach plays a crucial role in delivering nutrients to bodily tissues. If the stomach fails to break down and absorb nutrients, the body naturally receives inadequate nourishment.Insufficient nutrient distribution leads to diminished physiological functions.
4. Breast Root Meridian — End of Breast Area B. Located on the mammary disc, directly below the nipple. Slightly indented.
The abdominal cavity directly below the nipple corresponds to the ovaries. The Breast Root Meridian serves as the pivotal connecting point between upper and lower body functions.
5. Kidney Meridian — Located at the three-quarter point of the breast. Pain during massage indicates: Kidney Qi deficiency. Recommendations: Avoid exposing the waist to cold, refrain from consuming raw or cold foods around menstruation, and incorporate dark-colored foods into your diet to replenish kidney energy. Similarly, women with kidney qi deficiency may experience various menstrual discomforts, accompanied by memory decline and sensitivity to cold.
6. Gallbladder Meridian — Along the breast's lateral edge, directly opposite the lymphatic system. Pain during massage indicates:
Impaired lymphatic circulation. (The gallbladder meridian acts as a universal key for lymphatic function. When lymphatic metabolism malfunctions and circulation weakens, stimulating this meridian accelerates lymphatic tissue metabolism.Ensuring normal circulatory metabolism in the thoracic cavity.)
7. Lymphatic System — The hollow under the armpit. Pain during massage indicates:
Hard lumps detected during initial lymphatic assessment, or prominent armpits. Typically, pain occurs during manual therapy. This signifies stagnation and blockage in the lymphatic environment. It may also indicate conditions near lymph nodes.(The human body relies on only three lymphatic regions for external metabolic support: 1) The Yifeng point behind the ear, responsible for facial lymphatic metabolism; 2) Axillary lymph nodes, managing the entire thoracic cavity; 3) Inguinal lymph nodes, overseeing the pelvic cavity. Since mammary glands are located within the thoracic cavity, the significance of axillary lymph nodes is paramount.Blockages or stagnation in the axillary lymph nodes can impair thymus health. Similarly, breast tissue may experience weakened immune function as a result.)
8) Lung Meridian — Above the Stomach Meridian, at the collarbone. Appears as a diagonal, elongated area. Pain occurs during massage.
The human body requires the propulsion of qi and blood to accelerate circulation.Weakness in the Lung Meridian slows circulation, increasing toxin and waste buildup. Therefore, we recommend nurturing the Lung Meridian to maintain normal bodily circulation and metabolism. Chest Massage Technique: One chest massage session is equivalent to one anti-aging injection, activating nine meridians and 108 acupoints. A daily half-hour practice is equivalent to 5 kilometers of aerobic exercise for the chest!Every woman desires firm, full breasts, yet the rising incidence of breast diseases in recent years underscores the critical importance of breast health.
1. The line perpendicular to the nipple represents the Stomach Meridian of the Foot-Yangming. Breasts that are underdeveloped, small, or contain nodules indicate deficiency in qi and blood within this meridian. Conversely, breasts that are full and rounded typically correspond to strong spleen and stomach function.
2. Two cun lateral to the medial aspect of the Stomach Meridian (Foot Yangming), near the body's anterior midline, lies the pathway of the Kidney Meridian and the Chong Pulse. The Chong Pulse, also known as the Sea of the Twelve Meridians, regulates the qi and blood of all twelve meridians and is closely linked to the uterus and female reproductive function. Therefore, those with poor Chong Pulse circulation or insufficient kidney qi are prone to breast tenderness before menstruation, with symptoms gradually improving as menstruation begins.
3. The outer chest area beyond the nipple is traversed by the Hand Jueyin Pericardium Meridian, Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian, and Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian. When emotional distress, chest qi stagnation, mental oppression, impaired heart-lung function, spleen-stomach weakness, or fluid metabolism disorders occur, lumps often manifest in the upper outer quadrant of the breast—a clinically common site for transient breast masses.
Where there is free flow, there is no pain; where there is pain, there is no free flow. Before sleep or upon waking, use the fingers of your right hand to place them on the intercostal spaces of the left breast, starting from the Kidney Meridian on the inner side. Slowly massage outward along the Spleen Meridian and Lung Meridian to the outer side of the breast. Then massage the right breast using the same method.Massaging each breast for 5-10 minutes helps prevent and treat sagging breasts, lack of fullness, hyperplasia, as well as chest qi stagnation, coughing, and chest tightness caused by spleen-stomach deficiency, Chong-Ren imbalance, and emotional distress.
If pain occurs during massage:
1. Underwire bras that are too rigid can compress the chest and impair blood circulation. (Consider tying a string tightly around your finger—numbness occurs within a short time. The principle is similar.)2. During menstruation, symptoms like heavy flow, dark blood, and clots may appear. Correspondingly, menstrual bloating, abdominal pain, a heavy sensation in the abdomen, and coldness in the lower abdomen may also occur.
