Eyebrow embroidery is a highly effective brow enhancement technique. However, unexpected complications may sometimes lead to unsatisfactory results, making removal and re-treatment necessary. Chemical Peel Removal:
A corrosive chemical is applied to the tattooed area, inducing a localized chemical burn reaction. This causes coagulative necrosis of the tissue, leading to scab formation and eventual shedding. The pigment from the tattooed design is partially removed in the process.
Electrosurgical Removal of Eyebrow Tattoos:
High-frequency electric needles cauterize the tattooed area, causing localized dry necrosis and partial pigment removal. However, this method rarely achieves complete removal and may leave unsightly scars. Consequently, laser removal is now widely preferred.
Laser energy instantly shatters and explodes pigment particles. The fragmented pigment debris is then expelled from the body through scab shedding, cellular phagocytosis, or lymphatic and blood circulation. The laser's action is highly selective, causing no damage to surrounding healthy skin. Post-treatment, there are no significant side effects, no scarring, and typically, eyebrow tattoos can be removed after 1 to 3 sessions.
