Does that crystal-clear skin on camera really rely solely on "Meitu" one-click smoothing? NO! Mastering foundation techniques banishes dark circles, uneven skin tone, and enlarged pores—instantly giving you camera-ready skin.
Pre-makeup tips:
1. For a dewy finish, focus on skin hydration—moisturizing is key.Consider applying a toner mask before makeup. Saturate 4-5 cotton pads with a hydrating toner, then tear one pad into 2-3 pieces. Place them on cheeks, forehead, and nose for 5-10 minutes. Well-hydrated skin ensures makeup lasts longer and adheres better.
2. Try applying foundation with your fingertips. The delicate, elastic pads of your fingers conform perfectly to facial contours, while their natural warmth enhances the foundation's spreadability.
STEP1: Dispense an appropriate amount of liquid foundation into your palm, warm it slightly, then dab onto five points: cheeks, forehead, nose tip, and chin.
STEP2: Use fingertips to blend the foundation outward from the center of the face using a patting motion. Apply any remaining concealer on your fingers to the upper eyelids to complete the eye area.
STEP3: After covering the entire face, use the corner of a sponge to blend into fine crevices. Then, repeatedly press the foundation and blot away excess to enhance its adherence.
STEP4: Select an eye concealer, dip a brush into it, and dab it onto the tear troughs beneath the inner corners of your eyes. For bluish-black circles, use an orange-toned concealer with pearl finish. For brownish circles, opt for a yellow-based concealer.
STEP5: Gently press and blend with fingertips to lighten the deepest areas of dark circles. Avoid getting too close to the lower lash line!
STEP6: Areas like the sides of the nose are prone to powder buildup. Gently press foundation into these small corners with your fingertips to ensure smooth application.
STEP7: Dip a powder brush into loose powder, shake off excess on the back of your hand, then lightly sweep over the entire face. This enhances makeup adhesion and helps conceal larger pores to some extent.
