Ingredients: 400g tofu, 200g pork,6 dried shiitake mushrooms, 1 small Chinese cabbage, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 piece ginger, 15ml light soy sauce, 10g oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
Method:
1. Cut tofu into triangular blocks (or mahjong-shaped pieces).
2. Mix minced pork with chopped shiitake mushrooms, season with light soy sauce and salt.
3. Use a small spoon to hollow out a center cavity in each tofu block, then stuff with seasoned pork mixture.
4. Lightly coat a skillet with oil, add tofu blocks, and pan-fry until golden.

Method:
1. Finely mince pork. Peel ginger, shred, then mince into pork mixture. Dice carrot and asparagus, adding to pork mixture.
2.Dice the kelp and place in a bowl. Add oyster sauce, salt, white pepper, and light soy sauce. Mix well to form the meat filling.

4. Take two slices of yam. Coat one slice in starch, then place it starch-side up. Spread the meat filling evenly over it. Place the second slice starch-side down on top of the filling. Gently press to shape.
5. Arrange the prepared yam boxes on a plate and steam in a steamer for 10-15 minutes. Remove the steamed yam boxes, strain the cooking liquid, and use this liquid to braise the asparagus (braise for about 1 minute).
6. Arrange the asparagus on a serving plate. Mix a small amount of cornstarch slurry with the broth to thicken it, then ladle the thickened sauce over the asparagus. Serve immediately.
