1.Peel and slice bananas.

2 bananas, 150g granulated sugar, 1000g salad oil (actual usage: 80g), 300g cornstarch, 20g custard powder, 20g all-purpose flour, 1 egg, 5g toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1.Peel bananas and cut into 2cm chunks.
2. Beat egg in bowl. Add cornstarch, all-purpose flour, custard powder, and a small amount of water. Mix into thick batter and set aside.
3. Heat oil in wok to medium-high (50% heat). Coat banana chunks evenly in batter. Fry until golden brown, then remove.
4. In separate wok, heat small amount of salad oil. Add sugar and stir over low heat until completely melted, constantly stirring with spoon to ensure even heating.
5. Remove fried bananas from oil and drain on paper towels.
6. Pour melted sugar syrup over bananas. Toss gently to coat evenly. Serve warm.
