Frequent Rapes of Young Girls—Why Are You So Perverted, Old Man?
In truth, cases of raping young girls have become all too common in recent years.According to incomplete statistics, child rape cases account for 73% of all rape incidents. Why must these young girls, in the prime of their youth, endure such suffering during what should be their most vibrant years?
Let's first examine the parties involved in these child rape incidents.
We observe that the victims are increasingly younger, with those under 14 forming the primary group. The perpetrators are predominantly middle-aged or elderly men. This stark age disparity evokes memories of Nabokov's classic novel, Lolita.
To those middle-aged men obsessed with—or worse, abusing—young girls: why are you so twisted?
A bit of psychology:
Paraphilia: Also known as sexual perversion. This psychological disorder involves abnormal behaviors as the primary means of satisfying sexual urges. A common characteristic is intense sexual arousal toward objects or situations that do not typically excite others.
Common forms include voyeurism, exhibitionism, transvestism, transsexualism, fetishism, and pedophilia.
"Raping young girls" falls under "pedophilia"—a sexual perversion where children serve as objects of sexual gratification.
How does pedophilia develop?!
Pedophilia primarily stems from developmental psychological issues, with causes including:
1. Psychological factors. A fondness for children and nostalgia for childhood. While showing concern for children is a common human behavior and psychologically unobjectionable, when this behavior and mindset exceed certain limits, solidifying as a fixed concept that controls one's actions, it becomes pedophilia.
2. Social factors. Some individuals, facing poor interpersonal relationships or setbacks in work or life, perceive human nature as unpredictable. Dealing with adults requires constant effort, leading to fatigue, tension, and fear. Interacting with children, however, demands little effort or mental strain. Over time, they grow weary of adult relationships and shift their interest toward children.
3. Family Factors. Family discord and marital dissatisfaction can cause individuals to lose interest in adult sexual relationships, redirecting their focus toward children.
4. Personality Deficiencies. Individuals with timid or weak personalities, lacking the ability to cope with crises, may retreat into childhood when faced with unexpected major emotional blows—such as discovering their spouse's infidelity—unable to confront reality courageously. They then fixate on young girls, fantasizing them as romantic partners. What exactly do pedophiles seek?! Pedophiles primarily pursue psychological sexual gratification and pleasure. They often achieve this through voyeurism or manipulating children's genitals, with sexual contact typically stopping short of intercourse. However, as time passes and such encounters increase, psychological gratification evolves into physical desire, manifesting as demands for intercourse, child molestation, or acts of child abuse. Why are you girls so vulnerable?! From the perspective of young girls, their young age, limited social experience, and immature physical, psychological, and intellectual development leave them with poor self-protection abilities. They often suffer sexual abuse due to ignorance. Some young girls have no understanding of sexual acts, mistaking them for games. Others suffer abuse due to weakness. Timid children are easily intimidated by words or violence, deterring them from reporting perpetrators. Still others fall victim to abuse out of curiosity. As young girls mature, subtle changes in their sexual physiology and psychology spark curiosity, a sense of mystery, or even a desire to experiment.
From the perspectives of family, school, and society, there are profoundly serious issues in the management, education, and protection of young girls.
First, there is a severe lack of proper education on sexual knowledge, sexual ethics, and sexual concepts.Sex education and sexual knowledge dissemination in China have long been stagnant. Due to this lack of knowledge and misguided perceptions, perpetrators disregard the physiological and psychological vulnerabilities of young girls, as well as ethical boundaries, committing sexual assaults with impunity. These girls, deprived of timely sexual education in schools, often lack the knowledge to protect themselves even when abused—some don't even understand what sexual assault truly is.
Second, some families lack cohesion, resulting in inadequate care and protection for young girls. Due to the absence of blood ties, parental oversight and discipline are often neglected. Young girls whose parents are frequently absent are particularly vulnerable to sexual assault.
Third, widespread misconceptions persist. Misguided notions of male supremacy and chastity often cloud judgment, leading many to indiscriminately blame, ridicule, insult, mock, or even physically abuse the young victims. This constitutes a major social and psychological factor that amplifies, spreads, and even escalates the consequences of sexual assault.
How can I save you, young girls?
The central figure in this case, Feifei, endured repeated rape by driver Liu since fifth grade. When asked how many times it occurred, she herself stated it happened too many times to count.
In cases of "rape of young girls," we often find that once sexually abused, the victims feel too ashamed to tell others yet lack the knowledge to handle the situation properly.Consequently, they endure repeated abuse, and some even take their own lives.
What must we adults do to save these precious lives?
First, parents must strengthen supervision and management. As a girl's primary guardians and closest confidants, only through enhanced parental oversight can such tragedies be effectively prevented.
Second, schools must improve educational mechanisms. For children still in their early years, genuine "sex education" must begin—not mere "instruction." This will significantly reduce the likelihood of such cases involving young girls.
Finally, families and society must respond rationally to young girls who have suffered sexual assault. They should be given the utmost care, affection, and comfort. Above all, avoid blaming, mocking, insulting, or treating them differently.Victims should be guided to understand and process what happened, discarding outdated, misguided beliefs to rebuild confidence and courage for normal life.In the film, the man protects the girl, yet in reality, more and more young girls fall victim to predators. Their once-sunlit lives become shrouded in darkness. Can we truly comprehend the lingering shadows these girls carry into adulthood? What agony do their parents endure? Can we truly fathom it?
Save the children! Save the young girls!
