Whether simmered briefly or slow-cooked for hours, this calcium cannot fully dissolve into the broth.The calcium in bones exists as compounds like tricalcium phosphate, most of which are insoluble or poorly soluble in water. Calcium must be in an ionic state to be absorbed by the body in the intestines. Milk, yogurt, leafy greens, soy products, sesame paste, and dried shrimp are all calcium-rich foods that effectively supplement calcium.
Additionally, effective calcium supplementation requires attention to absorption. Beyond dietary intake, regular outdoor exercise and sun exposure are essential to enhance calcium absorption.
