The appearance of eyebrows significantly impacts one's overall image. Consequently, many people place great importance on their eyebrow shape. Those dissatisfied with their natural brows often opt for tattooed or embroidered eyebrows. Design planning is essential before undergoing this procedure. Today, we'll introduce the techniques for tattooed eyebrow design.
Permanent makeup is essentially a traumatic skin coloring technique. Pigments are implanted into the skin tissue using specialized tools like microneedles, forming stable color blocks. Since the epidermis is thin and semi-transparent, the pigments pass through this layer to reveal their color, achieving the effects of concealing imperfections, enhancing features, and beautifying the appearance. The pigments introduced into the skin form tiny particles, each less than one micrometer in diameter. These particles are quickly surrounded by collagen and cannot be engulfed by phagocytes, thereby creating a permanent mark.Eyebrow tattooing is a traumatic skin coloring technique. Its principle involves implanting pigment beneath the epidermis using a tattooing device, creating defined color blocks within the skin. Since the eyebrow epidermis is thin and semi-transparent, the pigment shines through to reveal a beautiful pattern.
Before permanent makeup, eyebrows must be drawn to complement the face shape. Below are guidelines for designing permanent eyebrows:
Round Face: Sweet and cute but lacking defined contours. Design bold eyebrows with higher-set tails to visually elongate the face and add dimensionality.Alternatively, a slightly shorter, thicker arched shape works well. Avoid flat, straight, thick brows or sharply arched, thin brows. Adjust the width based on the client's eye size.
Rectangular Face: Defined but rigid contours suit brows with a slight curve at the tail for a softer, more approachable look. Avoid overly curved, sharply arched, or very thin brow shapes.
Square Face: Possesses masculine energy but lacks feminine softness. Suitable for slightly elevated, gentle, and slightly curved brows. Avoid straight, thin, and short brow shapes.
Diamond Face: Resembles the Chinese character "申," giving a sharp and harsh impression. Suitable for brows where the outer end is higher than the inner end, with a slightly wider inner end and a slightly thinner outer end. Emphasize the middle section for a lively appearance.
Since everyone's eyebrow shape is unique, designs will vary accordingly. Avoid blindly chasing specific trends—what suits you best is paramount. Before permanent makeup, always have a professional tailor a design to your individual features.
