Many customers mistakenly believe they'll instantly achieve their desired look after permanent makeup. This expectation is unrealistic—a brief recovery period follows the procedure, and this phase is crucial!
Post-procedure eyebrow care details:
1. Avoid contact with tap water for 4 hours; refrain from using cleansing products for 3 days.
2. On the second day, slight darkening due to oxidation is normal. Cleanse the eyebrows with a wrung-out damp cotton pad, then apply healing ointment. Reapply every 1-2 hours. After applying ointment, use a cotton swab to gently wipe away any excess!
3. During healing, itching is a normal metabolic response. Avoid scratching; instead, use a cotton swab dipped in ointment to gently massage the area.
Post-Procedure Care for Eyeliner Tattoo:
1. Instruct clients to avoid water contact with the eyes on the day of the procedure. Normal face washing is permitted the next day, but avoid submerging the eyes or applying face masks. For hair washing, it is best to visit a salon.
2. On the day of the procedure, advise clients not to drink water before bed. Elevate the head with pillows while sleeping. Swelling may occur in the eyelids upon waking the next morning but will gradually subside by afternoon.
3. For mild discomfort, advise applying chloramphenicol eye drops. If foreign body sensation or friction pain occurs, instruct the client to contact you immediately.
4. After approximately 4 days, thin scabs will shed, revealing a slightly lighter, natural black hue. Optimal results are achieved after the second touch-up session.
5. Kindly remind clients that after applying foundation makeup, gently wipe the eyeliner with a semi-dry cotton swab to achieve a natural black appearance.
7. Swelling typically subsides completely within 1-2 days post-procedure, with scabs shedding around 3-4 days. For a small number of clients with slower healing, this process may extend by a few days. Should any concerns arise, encourage clients to promptly consult their permanent makeup artist to alleviate unnecessary worries.
Post-lip procedure care details:
1. Within 24 hours, practice lip exercises by forming the letters "a" and "o," or chew gum. Apply ice packs if significant swelling occurs to reduce it.Daily activities like eating, brushing teeth, washing face, and applying makeup are unaffected after lip tinting.
2. Apply healing ointment every 1-2 hours post-procedure. Wipe off thoroughly after each application until scabs fall off. Continue applying for one week after scabs shed, as the new mucosa is delicate.
3. Maintain oral hygiene by rinsing frequently. Avoid seafood, spicy foods, eggs, tobacco, alcohol, inflammatory foods, extremely hot or irritating items for one week.
5. Take acyclovir tablets orally to prevent lip blisters and take oral anti-inflammatory medication to boost immunity.
6. As lips are mucosal tissue prone to bacterial infection, some clients may develop small blisters 1-2 days post-procedure. This does not affect overall health or lip color, so reassure clients there is no cause for concern!
