We all know that eyebrows above the eyes enrich facial expressions. The arching, narrowing, lifting, or drooping of eyebrows reflects complex emotions like joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness. Thus, beauty enthusiasts often choose eyebrow tattooing to fulfill their aesthetic desires. However, various mistakes can occur during the process.
① Poorly designed brow shape that doesn't suit the patient's facial structure or creates asymmetry between the two brows.
② Suboptimal choice of tattoo pigment. Often, dark black eyeliner ink is mistakenly used for brows, resulting in overly intense color with a bluish tint.
③ Lack of scientific precision in pigment depth and artistic consideration in placement.
④ Poorly defined brow heads that appear overly rigid, commonly seen in dark, rounded or square shapes.
⑤ Uneven tattooing density lacking softness.
Remediation methods:
Wipe the area with disinfectant. Using a sterilized eyebrow tattoo machine, apply the "empty needle" technique to puncture the skin evenly multiple times. Then apply eyebrow removal solution. Remember: Do not puncture too deeply to avoid scarring. For excessively dark areas, repeat the removal process a second or even third time after one month. Avoid getting the removal solution in the eyes to prevent chemical burns.
Correction Methods:
1. Chemical eyebrow removal solution.
2. Laser or electrolytic eyebrow removal—results are often unsatisfactory, with poor color retention and noticeable scarring in poorly tattooed areas.
3. Continuous intradermal suture eyebrow excision.
4. Eyebrow excision surgery.
Therefore, we strongly advise women to approach "eyebrow correction" with caution. If eyebrow quantity, density, or shape are unsatisfactory, use eyebrow pencils for subtle enhancement to improve facial aesthetics.
