Generally, eyebrows should not be completely removed; at least the hair at the inner end should be preserved, otherwise the tattooed brows will appear unnatural. For eyebrow lift surgery requiring an incision above the brow, it should be made immediately above the brow margin. The width of the excised area should not be too large, typically less than 5mm and never exceeding 10mm.
2. Eyebrow Tattoo Incision Technique:
When performing a brow lift, the scalpel should be perpendicular to the skin. Particular attention is needed at the brow ridge, where the skin has a natural curvature. When making an incision along the brow margin, ensure it runs parallel to the direction of hair growth to minimize damage to the hair follicles.
3. Eyebrow Tattoo Surgery: Dissection:
After dissection, direct suturing is usually not feasible. Dissection must be performed bilaterally along the incision. Ensure consistent tissue thickness on both sides, particularly within 3mm of the incision margin.
4. Eyebrow Tattoo Surgery: Suturing:
Suturing must include a subcutaneous layer to reduce tension. If necessary, add several sutures in the dermis. Accurate alignment during suturing is crucial to prevent unexpected scarring.
5. Eyebrow Tattooing Dressing:
Elastic bandages are recommended for dressing to minimize bleeding and swelling post-procedure.
