Different face shapes suit different eyebrow styles. Below, plastic surgery experts share remedies for eyebrow tattooing mishaps.
Many rush to get eyebrow tattoos before work without considering their face shape. They copy others' eyebrows only to discover the style doesn't suit them. What can be done to fix a failed eyebrow tattoo?
1. A common remedy is chemical removal. Clean the area with disinfectant, then use a sterilized machine with an empty needle to make multiple shallow punctures evenly spaced. Apply eyebrow removal solution afterward. Important: Avoid puncturing too deeply to prevent scarring. For overly pigmented areas, repeat the process after one month, or even a third time. Never let the solution get into your eyes, as it can cause burns.
2. Laser removal is another option. This method leverages laser technology to effectively break down melanin particles, vaporizing or decomposing pigment into microscopic fragments without damaging surrounding tissue. This approach offers simplicity, speed, safety, minimal bleeding, low patient discomfort, and no scarring. However, eyebrows may appear thinner or lighter in color initially. New hair growth typically resumes within about 20 days, making this currently the most effective method. Note that it is less effective for non-black eyebrow tattoos.
These two methods for correcting eyebrow tattoo mistakes are relatively common. They are easy to perform and affordable, causing minimal financial burden for beauty enthusiasts!
