Eyebrow shapes and colors are customized based on the individual's age and facial structure to avoid a one-size-fits-all look. For the root and tail areas of the eyebrows, the tattoo density can be slightly less dense.Eyebrow tattooing requires selecting pigments based on the individual's skin and hair color. For older women, slightly lighter pigments should be chosen compared to younger women.
Precautions for Eyebrow Tattooing
1. During the procedure, use the dot technique for the brow head and the upper/lower edges of the eyebrow. For the middle section and tail, employ either the dot technique or the dot-and-stroke technique.Coloration should be slightly lighter at the brow head and tail, while the central section may be slightly darker. The upper and lower edges, along with the brow head, should not appear overly neat. The brow head must not extend beyond the natural hairline, as this can create an unnatural appearance.
2. Throughout the procedure, both the technician and client should continuously monitor the coloration and shape. Any unsatisfactory areas can be corrected immediately by further tattooing until the desired result is achieved. Each eyebrow typically takes 15–20 minutes to complete.Freshly tattooed brows may appear slightly darker initially. The true color stabilizes and looks natural after about one week, once a thin scab layer sheds. If the color seems too light after scab removal, a second touch-up session can be performed to perfect the shape.
