To achieve more defined lip contours and a more alluring lip color, many opt for lip tattooing to enhance their lips. However, many remain unfamiliar with the procedure. Below, we outline the steps involved in lip tattooing to understand the process.
1. Disinfect the lips and surrounding skin with 75% alcohol or 1% benzalkonium bromide cotton swabs;
2. The technician designs a lip shape tailored to the client's facial structure, features, lip profile, professional needs, and personal preferences;
3. The technician selects suitable pigments based on the client's skin tone, natural lip color, and personal preferences;
4.After washing hands, the technician disinfects with 75% alcohol and wears sterile gloves, cap, and mask;
5. Using a tattooing device, the technician deposits pigment into the skin. After the first pass, excess pigment is wiped away with a 1% benzalkonium chloride cotton swab to assess color take. The process is repeated while applying numbing cream until the client is satisfied;
6. For full lip procedures, the technician mixes the inner lip color based on the client's skin tone, natural lip color, and personal preference, continuing the process until complete coverage is achieved;
7. After completing the full lip, promptly apply EGF and BFGF epidermal repair factors. Apply continuously for approximately 7 days to facilitate healing;
