Hair Loss Might Be Washed Out

Many people wash their hair by applying shampoo first, then conditioner. However, if your hair is dry, try applying a small amount of conditioner first, rinsing it out, and then using shampoo. This helps protect the hair cuticle, preventing breakage and flaking. Note that you should still use conditioner after shampooing.
3. Applying conditioner to wet hair
After washing, towel-dry hair before applying conditioner. Residual moisture hinders absorption and reduces effectiveness.
4. Not rinsing conditioner promptly
Many believe longer conditioning time enhances results, but prolonged application doesn't improve absorption. Instead, it causes conditioner to cling to hair, potentially damaging the cuticle layer during rinsing and even triggering hair loss. Limit conditioning time to no more than 10 minutes.
5. Applying conditioner to the scalp
Unlike shampoo, conditioner is designed only for the hair shaft. If applied to the scalp and left behind, it can clog hair follicles and lead to hair loss. When applying conditioner, ensure it is at least 1-2 cm away from the roots.
6. Incomplete rinsing of conditioner
Conditioner residue exposed to sunlight may cause hair discoloration. Always rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water after application.
7. Not drying hair promptly after washing
Allowing hair to air dry leaves the cuticle layer open, making it prone to absorbing dust and other pollutants from the air. Use a hairdryer on the hot setting to quickly dry the surface moisture, then switch to the cool setting for a short time to close the cuticle layer.
