Xiao Zhang (pseudonym), 18, graduated from Jinhua No. 1 High School and achieved the highest score in the liberal arts section of this year's college entrance exam in Jinhua City. Immediately after the exam last month, she underwent double eyelid surgery.

She has just been admitted to a broadcasting and hosting program at a Shanghai university. Xiao Wang hopes the surgery will make her chin appear more defined.
"I came to the plastic surgery hospital for consultation immediately after receiving my acceptance letter," Xiao Wang said. Her childhood dream has been to become an outstanding host like her idol Yang Lan. "I want to become more beautiful so I'll have more opportunities after entering university."
