Meat-Based Pregnancy Recipes
Stir-Fried Shredded Pork with Silver Bean Sprouts and Wood Ear Mushrooms
Ingredients: 50g rehydrated dried tofu,100g each of bean sprouts, rehydrated wood ear mushrooms, and shredded pork
Seasonings: Sesame oil, salt, chicken bouillon powder, cornstarch slurry, cornstarch, minced ginger, light soy sauce (to taste)
Method
Cut the rehydrated tofu skin into diagonal shreds. Marinate the pork shreds with light soy sauce and cornstarch.
Clean and rinse the rehydrated wood ear mushrooms, then slice into thin strips. Clean and rinse the bean sprouts.Blanch in boiling water, then drain.
Heat oil in a wok, stir-fry minced ginger until fragrant. Add pork strips and stir-fry until separated. Add bean sprouts and wood ear fungus strips, stir-fry briefly. Add a small amount of water, salt, chicken bouillon, and tofu skin. Simmer over low heat for 3 minutes. Increase heat to high to reduce the sauce. Thicken with cornstarch slurry. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
Homemade Roasted Chicken Wings
Ingredients: 10 chicken wings, 2 teaspoons (10g) each of chopped scallion and fresh ginger, 15g minced garlic
Seasonings: 1 tablespoon (15ml) each light soy sauce and dark soy sauce, 2 teaspoons (10ml) cooking wine, 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey, 1 teaspoon (5g) salt,2g ground black pepper, 10g cumin seeds,5g crushed dried chili peppers
Instructions
Rinse chicken wings and pat dry. Pierce the skin on the back of each wing several times with a fork. Place wings in a large bowl. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, honey, salt, ground black pepper, chopped scallion, minced fresh ginger, and minced garlic. Mix well and marinate for 6 hours.
Line a baking sheet with foil. Place wings on a wire rack. Brush remaining marinade evenly over wings. Bake in the middle rack of a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes. Remove wings, brush with marinade again, sprinkle evenly with cumin seeds and dried chili flakes. Continue baking for 5 minutes until cooked through.
